Acropolis Diamond Way Buddhist Center belongs to the Karma Kagyu lineage of Buddhism. It was established in 2007 by Lama Ole Nydahl and is part of the largest network of lay Buddhist centres in the world (over 600). It is a place where people can meet to learn and meditate, to share experience and development and actively participate in the work which makes all this possible.
Acropolis Center is organised on a voluntary, non-hierarchal basis and functions through friendship and idealism. Our approach is relevant to daily life, free from confusing cultural baggage, holy cows, exotic-sounding titles, careerism and sentimentality. We offer authentic methods for people with a healthy sense of humour towards life and love.
